With six bedrooms and 5.5 baths, Good Fortune provides ample space for relaxation and privacy. The third-floor master bedroom boasts a private outdoor shower, offering a serene spot to rinse off under the sky. The heart of the home is the custom-made dining table, where everyone can gather for meals and memories. Enjoy leisurely afternoons on the bed swing or cool off in the unique shipping container pool, the only one of its kind in Cape San Blas!

Our home is equipped with dual dishwashers and refrigerators to accommodate all your culinary needs, and the private pool invites you to bask in the sun with captivating gulf views. Steps from the beach, Good Fortune marries the quaint charm of old Florida with sleek, modern amenities, ensuring your stay is both comfortable and memorable.

We uphold a strict no-smoking policy to ensure the health and enjoyment of all guests. This applies to all smoking forms, inside and outside the property. Please discuss these guidelines with your party to ensure a harmonious stay.

For your convenience, Good Fortune includes an elevator. While we strive to ensure itssmooth operation, please note that its sensitive nature may lead to unexpecteddowntime, especially in our remote beach setting. To avoid any inconvenience, werecommend using the elevator primarily for move-in and move-out.

Payment Schedule

The remaining amount is to be paid 150 day(s) before arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Once Renter(s) deposit is received, all other prospective renters are blocked from renting the Rental for the dates reserved, therefore, if Renter(s) cancel the reservation at any time, the deposit is not refundable. The full balance of the rent is due one hundred fifty (150) days from the check-in. A one hundred fifty (150) day notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations that occur within one hundred fifty (150) days of the check-in date will forfeit the full payment and security/damage deposit. Every effort will be made to re-rent the house after a cancellation. If house is re-rented for the same time period, and the same rent amount, the full rent less a $100 administrative fee, will be refunded. If the unit is rented for a lesser amount, the difference between the two rental amounts, plus the $100 administrative fee will be the refunded amount. The minimum cancellation fee is the deposit and the $100 administrative fee. If you have any concerns about unforeseen cancellations, you may want to consider private Trip Insurance, with a private carrier. There are many companies that provide this type of insurance and Management does not endorse any one company. Failure to make scheduled payment one hundred fifty (150) days from check-in will be considered a cancellation.

Security deposit

A fully-refundable security deposit of $1000.00 is due at time of booking. If booking is made within 150 days of check in a fully-refundable security deposit of $1000.00 is due in addition to the full rental fee.

Rates are correct until July 30, 2027. For inquiries beyond July 30, 2027, please reach out to Carrie for the correct rate.

All weeks have a 7-night minimum stay, check-in and check-out on Saturday

Nightly rate is based on a 7-night stay.  

All rates include a cleaning fee

A mid-stay clean is required for guests staying more than 25 nights

Rates do not include 12% Florida tax

The $1000 reservation deposit turns into a refundable damage deposit once the rental fee is paid in full 150 days from check-in

Dogs are welcome at Good Fortune for a fee of $160+12% Florida tax for each dog

The rate to heat the pool is $375 +12% Florida tax per week

Cancellation Policy - Once the reservation deposit is received, it is not refundable unless the week is rebooked. If there are local, state, or federal laws that prevent travel due to COVID 19 a full refund will be made regardless of whether the week is rebooked.

To ensure the enjoyment and health of all our guests, Good Fortune maintains a strict no-smoking policy. This includes all forms of smoking, both inside and outside the property. We kindly ask you to discuss these guidelines with your party in advance.

For your convenience, an elevator is provided for effortless move-in and move-out. Please note, due to its delicate nature, the elevator's operation can be unpredictable, and we recommend limited use to avoid any disruptions during your stay.
